E-Mail Aliases are a feature that allow you to use an unlimited number of e-mail address for your website. These are not individual mailboxes or POP3 accounts. Aliases allow you to receive mail that is addressed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and will be forwarded to your default e-mail account, even if there is no mailbox for that username. This allows you to receive all mail, regardless if an account exists for that e-mail address. Please note that some spammers will send mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and you will still receive that mail. This feature can be turned off within Cpanel so unaddressed mail bounces back to the sender saying the address doesn't exist.
